I’m enjoying this very much.  The title is getting a lot of reaction from everyone who sees it in my Facebook timeline. I’m about halfway through now.  My opinion will post soon.

What I recently read:

In Love with a Master by Jason Luke

I liked this book a lot.  There were a few twists that I did not see coming and shocked hell out of me.  Jason Luke is wonderful writer and I look forward to reading more from him.

What I hope to read next:

UnBeloved by Madeline Sheehan

I’m not gonna lie.  I just changed this post.  I originally had a different book scheduled for my next read.  This book wasn’t supposed to be released until June 30th but it released yesterday.  WHAT A FANTASTIC SURPRISE!!! I’ve been waiting for this one and I can’t wait to dig in. If you haven’t read this series, please do.

Now it’s your turn to tell me what your W…W…W… are.

isho-my-opinion2I received an ARC for my honest opinion.  I was really happy to read this book as I, along with everyone else, was anxious to know what would happen with Jonah and Leticia after the shocking ending of Interview with a Master.

Once again I was impressed by Jonah’s insight (I guess it’s really Jason Luke’s insight) into women and what makes us tick.  He is one very observant man.  He definitely pays attention.

In this book, a friend’s death prompts Jonah to consider the fact that he’s never had love in his life and he wants to give it a try.  Leticia of course is ready, willing and able.  But first he must teach her how to be submissive.  Along the way he teaches her a few very valuable lessons.  In doing so Jonah kind of made me angry at times.  I wanted to tell him to “JUST STOP AND FEEL!!!!”.

I’ve said before that I think Jason Luke is a brilliant writer.  My opinion has not changed.  He put my heart through the wringer with this book.  There are a few twists that I did not see coming and I am still in shock.

I gave this book four rich, hot, delicious cups of java.

ISHO Author Bio

Jason Luke is an Australian author who began writing in September 2013 at the suggestion of his longtime girlfriend. ‘Interview with a Master’ is Jason’s first erotic BDSM novel.

Jason Luke enjoyed several years involved in the BDSM lifestyle – but he is quick to point out that his experiences don’t qualify him as an expert; any more than knowing how to drive a car makes him a qualified mechanic. ‘Interview with a Master’ is a novel about how one man became a Master. The book is a work of fiction, but Jason has drawn heavily on encounters from his own real life. He won’t say which parts of the book are fictionalised, and which parts are auto-biographical.

Before taking up writing, Jason worked 6 days a week, 12 hours a day running a variety of retail businesses.

He has lived in Sydney all his life.

His favourite bands are U2 and INXS.

ISHO Excerpt“Anticipation is at its most effective, most seductive, when the next moment remains a mystery.” ~Jonah Noble

“Most men are more interested in their erection, and what they will get afterwards to be focused enough to stay in tune with their woman’s needs while pleasuring them,” I explained. “Because women are stimulated so differently, and because their arousal and release begins at a different place to a man’s, the man needs to be totally committed and patient. This is not a miracle solution for millions of frustrated women – it’s just common sense. But with the right attitude a man who knows this technique has within him the ability to sexual enslave a woman. It’s been my experience that once a woman has enjoyed this kind of an orgasm, they become desperate for more of the same.”
~ Jonah Noble

What I am currently reading:

I presently have two books on the go.  This is unusual for me.  I don’t normally like to do that, but I was strangely compelled. Don’t ask!!!

In Love with a Master by Jason Luke

I’m definitely enjoying this one.  I’m loving the deep insight the author has into women and what makes us tick.  My review will post next week.

The Resistance by S.L. Scott

I moved this one up my to read list.  I love me a hot rock star!  Dalton is broody and sexy and Holliday is a smart successful woman.  The two have great chemistry.  Definitely a 5 star read.

What I recently read:

Rusty Nailed by Alice Clayton

I really liked this book.  It was nice to visit with Wallbanger again.  He’s so swoony and so good with tools (ie: hammer and tool belt)…you’ll get it when you read it. My review for this one will also post next week.

What I hope to read next:

Finger Bang by Jade C. Jamison

I finally got my ARC for this one.  I’ve been waiting for it since Jade C. Jamison started posting about it.  I just know I’m going to love Blaze.  I also know that Jade NEVER disappoints.

You know the drill.  It’s now your turn to tell me what your W…W…W…are.  You know you want to!!!

What I am currently reading:

Rusty Nailed by Alice Clayton

Who wouldn’t want more Wallbanger and Nightie Girl?  I’ve been looking forward to this for a while.  I’ll post my opinion closer to release date.

What I recently read:

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

What can I say about this book that I haven’t said already.  I loved it so much even though it made me ugly snot sob.  (Note: I also watched the movie and snot sobbed some more.)  I know it’s a really sad book but it’s wonderfully written and definitely worth your investment in all those tissues. Okay? Okay.

What I hope to read next:

In Love with a Master by Jason Luke

This is the highly anticipated follow up to Interview with a Master.  When I read the first book I didn’t know what to expect (I was pleasantly surprised) but now that I know the brilliance that is Jason Luke’s writing I can’t wait to delve right in.

Now share with me your W…W…W…. Please and thank you.
