‘Wait… where’s my Tantalizing Tuesday?’  I hear you asking that, trust me & I want to know the same.  I’m here to tell you what’s up!

Hey, it’s W4R (ya know, Writing4Roses AKA Rosie…) here!  [*thinks out loud to self* Damn, I have too many nicknames.. I need to nip that in the bud!!  LOL]

So, I interrupt our regularly scheduled Tantalizing Tuesday to say there won’t be one today.  *hears collective gasp*  Aww… I know, but Stefter isn’t feeling well, so I’m hacking [see: logging in] & taking over the blog LOL

In turn, I’m posting some pretty stuff for her to see in hopes it helps her feel better!

These Are A Few of My Favourite Things

“Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens...” ok, that’s not what I was going to really say but those sound so good.

My sister recently made a blog post called Things I Love in 400 Words.  After getting me all sentimental and weepy it got me thinking about making a similar post.  There are so many things I love that I fear I would bore everyone to tears with the long list (never mind trying to keep it under 400 words)  so I’m going to keep it down to just “a few”.

Let’s start with a few of the fan fiction stories that have owned my arse in the last little while:

He is on the last leg of a European promotional tour for his latest film, when he meets a sexy much older woman who has been hired to serve as his language interpreter. What will develop during their travels throughout Spain, Italy, England, France and America? Will this older woman teach Rob about love and lust or will he have something to teach her? Lots of ripe, juicy, delicious lemons and possibly other fruit.

Note: I don’t usually read RP fics (for my own sanity, I think) but DAMN!!! This one is so good. [W4R:  Yes, I love it too!]

As usual this wouldn’t be a post from me if I didn’t bring some Robp0rn.  Here are a few of my favourite things about Rob:

I can start with his beautiful blue eyes. Followed by his mouth (especially that bottom lip) and that delicious scruff of his.  These are a few of my favourite things about Rob.

How could I possibly not include my all time favourite thing about Rob?! HIS NECK!!!! I’ll spare you all the details about why I love his neck (that would have to be a post all on its own).

And last but not least, I have to include a few “real life” favourite things:

• When my second-born says “I love you, Mommy”.
• When my first-born wants to discuss books we’ve been reading or wanting to read.
• That first kiss when DH comes home from work.
• The tradition of putting a puzzle together with my sister and first-born on Boxing Day.
• Being together with friends and family at Christmas.
• Sitting down with a good book and a cup of coffee.

Yup! These are most definitely a few of my favourite things!

Random Thoughts…

Today’s post is just about random thoughts that pop into my head on occasion. I should warn you that these thoughts are completely irrelevant and will leave you thinking “What the….?!”

Lonely shoe by the side of the road

Have you ever been driving and notice a lonely shoe on the side of the road? Have you wondered how and why it got there? I have! I’ve wondered if someone threw it out of a car? Did it fall out of someone’s bag? What about the matching shoe? Is it destined to sit around in someone’s closet waiting to be reunited with its mate? Did the owner of the shoe not realize that it got separated from its partner or could the owner not be bothered enough to go back for it? So many questions that will never get any answers. But let me leave you with one more question on this subject: Why does it take Public Works forever to get rid of the lonely shoe(s)? I drive by for more than a week and see the same shoe in the same place. Is it possible that the Public Works people are hoping someone will claim the shoe and that it will ultimately be reunited with its sole mate? (Yes, yes… I know, that was more than one question)

Blue Smarties.... ewww

While I’m going on about nothing, let me put this out there. BLUE SMARTIES. Love them? Hate them? Here’s my stand on them (I’ll bet you’re just dying to know) I refuse to eat them! Yup, it’s true. I won’t eat blue Smarties, or M&Ms for that matter. I will eat all the other colours but not the blue ones. I can imagine that your burning question right now is “WHY?” My honest answer is: I’m not sure why. When I was a kid there were no blue Smarties. Then at some point in the 80′s or 90′s (yes! I’m THAT old) – I can’t remember which- they came out with blue. I didn’t eat them then either. Eating something that colour just doesn’t seem right. I felt vindicated when they pulled all the blue ones out and got rid of them. Then lo and behold, they started a new campaign “Blue is Back!” As if that’s a good thing. Apparently, they changed the shade of blue. Is that supposed to make it more edible? I think not!!!!!

It wouldn’t be a post from me without a random thought about Robert Pattinson. Today’s random thought is about Robporn (see here for the definition). More specifically, NECKPORN! I am a big fan of that boy’s neck. He has the most beautiful neck I’ve ever seen on a man.

What could be better than neckporn? WET NECKPORN!!!

I can honestly tell you that I had never really noticed most men’s necks before. Then along comes Rob with that perfect neck of his… that adam’s apple… that hollow….. RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a very random post. It’s just a few things that made me…

…LAUGH OUT LOUD!!!! My sister found this site and posted it on her Facebook wall.  My fave one there was the one you see on the right. I know it’s not true but it just made me laugh.  No matter what I do or where I go there’s always some connection to Twilight or Rob.
