I received an ARC of Temper For You from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.  Seeing as I loved the first two books in this series I jumped at the opportunity.

We met both Wes and Meg in Pieces For You, the second book of the For You series. Meg was easy to like but Wes…well, it took a little longer to like him.  But make no mistake, I did like Wes A LOT!

Wes knows he’s just looking for a hook up and nothing more than that.  He states very clearly that he’s not a relationship kind of guy.  He thinks of Meg as the one that got away.  He feels that once he has her, then he can carry on and not think about her anymore. Yeah…right!

Meg is running from a secret, dark and dangerous past and is very afraid of putting her friends (which are more like family) in danger.  When Wes becomes her new neighbour, she has difficulty NOT thinking about him.  She too figures she can get him out of her system and then move on.  Um…not so much.

Unfortunately, her past is catching up to her and she needs to let her friends know what her secret is before any of them get hurt. Let me just say that I did not expect her secret to be what it was.

I loved seeing all the characters from the previous books: Ev, Hunter, Sam and Griffin.  Ev and Sam are great comic relief.  We also meet a couple of new characters, which I’m looking forward to reading more about.

One other thing I really enjoyed was the quotes at the top of each chapter.  I loved them!!!

I gave Temper For You five yummy cups of steamy latte, served up with “Lindt Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt”. DELICIOUS!!!!
